A little disappointing!!!!

I know that is not a very good title for this post but it is how I am feeling!!!! I was all excited about sharing some of our Christmas with my blogging friends through pictures and guess what, I have lost my camera!!!!! That's right, lost my camera. I starting looking for it Christmas Eve before we left for my dad's house and I have yet to locate it. We went through our entire Christmas 2008 activites and I have NO pictures. I can't believe it, I am hoping that my mom or sisters have some good pictures that they will share with their forgetful sister. If I am able to get some pictures from them I will try and share with you but until then I am hoping that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. Until I post again I will continue to look for my camera.

Christmas Decorations!!!

These pictues that I am going to share are not very good but I thought I would share with you guys a few of our Christmas decorations around our house!!!!!


This is my tree, I just love it!!!!! Notice the boys dog Saddle being nosey in the background, he loves watching what goes on in the den and looking at the lights on the tree, I think he will miss our tree as much as I will.


This is a picture of our mantle with stockings and my collection of Santa's on top and I just love our gas logs.

I will not be posting again until after Christmas and I would like to wish each and everyone of you the Merriest Christmas ever!!!!!

Spend quality time with family and friends and enjoy the true reason for the season!!!!

Pictures!!!!

I have been trying to find time to post several pictures of different events that have been happening over Christmas and I have finally found a free moment and wanted to share them. I will try and figure out captions and how to put them with the correct picture, so here goes!!!!

I love this picture, this is my Granddaddy(Andy's great granddaddy) he will be 89 years young on Sunday!!!!

At Home On A Rainy Day

Well, it is a rainy nasty day here and I get to stay at home!!! Not for a good reason though, my little man Lucas is not feeling well. He was running a low grade fever last night and threw up 1 time so I am not sure what the deal is, maybe nothing but a short bug, I sure hope so, he is up and about this morning but will go back and lay down after a short time of playing. We will see if he feels like eating anything, that will tell the real story. But I will have to admit, a nasty rainy day at home and time to snuggle with your little one is not so bad!!!!

911 ---- But Not An Emergency

Well leave it up to my 2 boys and life is NEVER boring!!!
Saturday started out as any regular Saturday, so a trip to Wal-mart was planned. The boys as ususal did not want to go with me to get groceries so my mother-in-law said they could stay at home with her while I ran to get groceries.
Well that is when the fun began. The boys decided that they wanted some vanilla ice-cream and I did not have any at my house so she walked to her house to get some (i need to mention that it is within walking and yelling distance to my house). While she was gone the boys got into a disagreement about what to watch on TV so my 5 year old decided that he would call 911 to come and get his brother. Well that is exactly what Lucas did, he dialed 911 and so the police called back to the house to check on our "emergency". When Andy answered the phone when the police called he got scared when they said R'ham County 911 and asked what the "emergency" was, Andy hung up on them and so they then called back and Andy told them the 2nd time that it was his 5 month old brother that did it instead of his 5 year old brother. So at this time Shine (my mother-in-law) is walking back over to my house and not 1 but 2 sheriff cars come pulling in the drive-way. Shine then had to explain the situation and she apologized for the inconvenience and assured him that everything was fine!!!

Needless to say they will be with me the next time I go to Wal-mart!!!

1. Friends are very special to me.

2. My health; it's good most of the time.

3. I'm ready for Christmas.

4. Cool Water is one of my favorite perfumes or aftershaves or smells.

5. The oldest ornament I have is my 1st Christmas 1973.

6. Take some school, church, basketball, work, cooking and cleaning, mix it all together and you have my very busy life.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the ladies dinner at church, tomorrow my plans include a date with my husband (no boys) and Sunday, I want to go to church and we are having Christmas at my mom's house that afternoon!

6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to BASKETBALL GAME, tomorrow my plans include SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MY MOM and Sunday, I want to ATTEND CHURCH, REST AND PLAY PRACTICE!
